During its Club and Association #3 Forum earlier this week, Hockey Victoria confirmed their plans for the remainder of the season.
Though chances look increasingly slim, pending restrictions and lockdown announcements, HV advised they are hoping to restart the 2021 winter competition on Friday 10th of September.
If community hockey cannot restart on the 10th of September then sadly the season will be cancelled.
If there is a restart:
VL/VLR: Restart with Round 11 on 11th Sep. Round 12 as scheduled. A top 4 finals series knockout final series will occur with the Grand Final to be played 3rd Oct.
Pennant, Metro and Midweek: Restart with Round 11 on 11th Sep. Round 12 as scheduled. Round 13 fixture will be amended so that 1 vs 2 play in a Grand Final. Season completed by Sun 26th Sep.
Juniors: Restart with Round 9 on 10th Sep. Round 10 as scheduled. Round 11 will be fixtured so that 1 vs 2 play in a Grand Final. Note: Round 11 for U14s and U16s will be played Thu 23rd Sep (PM) with U12s played on Fri 24th Sep (AM). U10s that play and Dandenong TBA.
