There is a fantastic FREE opportunity to work with Monash University’s Community Emergency Health and Paramedic Practice division to get some CPR and AED training for coaches and parents.
What is the cost?
They will be accepting a gold coin donation for the ‘Heart Wings’ charity who helped fund their manikins.
What do you get out of it?
This will be a ‘hands only CPR and AED mass training event’ and you will be given a Certificate of Participation, however it is not a recognised CPR course. This is more for anyone who would like to know what to do in an emergency situation, but is not the designated first aider who requires a full CPR certificate.
How long does it go for?
They would like large groups of 30-40 people for a 45min session.
Please contact Cheryle at juniorvicepresident@mphc.org.au if you are interested in taking part.
