This free program is for anyone interested in learning the basics of how to become a hockey coach. The course is designed to train coaches in basic concepts including group management and organisation, conducting modified games, and activity safety and enjoyment.

We encourage any Junior parents, U14  and U/16 players to seriously consider this great opportunity to learn valuable coaching skills. The course enables participants to assist with clinics, run Hookin2Hockey sessions, and assist existing coaches at training.

The Clubs aim is to encourage people to learn how to coach at basic level, as well as improving the club and increasing our coaching numbers. Those interested in continuing with coaching will be assisted with a Level 1 Coaching course.

The session will be conducted by Kevin Redden in association with Hockey Victoria.
